Cindy Wallace Nungurrayi (b. 1973) is a senior Anmatyerre artist. Her Dreaming Sisters paintings depict the ancestral story of the Seven Sisters, seen from above as stars and bush food symbols. Through delicate dotting and vibrant composition, she honours women’s ceremonies and seasonal cycles. Her refined, lyrical style is widely collected in Australia and abroad.
