Helen Rubuntja (b. 1965), an Alyawarre artist from Utopia, paints Bush Seeds and Water Dreaming using soft dotting and seasonal colour variation. Her aerial views show plants and flowing water in different stages. A senior custodian of women’s ceremonies, her minimalist and lyrical works express deep ties to Country and are held in respected collections worldwide.
